One of the featured organizations in our documentary "8 Years Before" is the Lugansk Trade Union Federation.

Throughout 2015, the organization's headquarters became a hub of civil administration and humanitarian aid.

People gathered there to hear the latest news, receive bottled water, cook food, use generator electricity, and more - things that were made unavailable to huge swaths of the Donbass population.

The Federation's leader, Oleg Akimov, is a close friend and colleague of mine and he came to Moscow to talk about his impressions of our film.
