Once again the police have targeted members of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist), for the clear anti-zionist and pro-Palestinian resistance message they distribute on the streets in Britain. In November 2023 four comrades were arrested for their pamphlet exposing zionism for the racist, antisemitic, reactionary tool of imperialims that it is.

Now on 13 January 2024, three different comrades were arrested for the message of the CPGB-ML leaflet, which has been in publication since October, this time under the Terrorism Act. Further, comrade Ranjeet, who was arrested back in November, was arrested the next day (14 Jan) for being present at the protest the previous day – although he did not distribute any literature. The police have not charged any comrades for they have not, in fact, broken any law. The Terrorism Act was used simply because it gives the police more powers as compared with arresting under any other section.
