8 Years Before is a documentary film directed and produced by Donald Courter and Jeff Monson.

It features interviews with citizens, as well as high-ranking officials, of the Lugansk and Donetsk Peoples' Republics, and a story-line that guides the viewer through both the reasons behind Russia's decision to launch its special military operation and the horrific war of attrition being waged by Kiev against the people of Donbass.
