The Bolivian Socialist Government announced this Tuesday the decision to break diplomatic relations again with the Terrorist and Genocide Israel in repudiation and condemnation of the genocide it carries out against Palestine and the Gaza Strip. Evo Morales had broken relationships in 2008, defining Israel as a Terrorist State, and in 2014, put stricter restrictions on visas. "Moving to list 3 means that we are declaring a terrorist state," Morales stated at the time.

During the intervention with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Freddy Mamani on the 13th floor of the Casa Grande del Pueblo (government headquarters), Prada announced the sending of humanitarian aid for the Palestinian Population subjected to systematic extermination for 75 years by the Zionist Invaders.

The Minister of the Presidency of Bolivia, María Nela Prada, together with the Vice-Chancellor, Freddy Mamani, made a statement to the press to inform the measure: "We have called this press conference taking into account the conflict, the crisis that is developing in the Middle East, fundamentally in Occupied Palestine. In that sense, our country has made two official statements on the issue of Palestine(...) Bolivia decided to break diplomatic relations with the State of Israel."

The Vice-Chancellor added that they will officially communicate the decision through the diplomatic channels established between both countries.

"Within the framework of its principled position of respect for life, (Bolivia) has made the determination to break diplomatic relations with the State of Israel in repudiation and condemnation of the aggressive and disproportionate Israeli military offensive being carried out in the Gaza Strip and the threat to international peace and security."

The official reiterated the call of the Bolivian State to "cease the attacks in the Gaza Strip that have left thousands of civilian victims and the forced displacement of Palestinians," as well as "the cessation of the blockade that prevents the entry of food, water, and other elements essential for life, violating international law and international humanitarian law."

For her part, the Minister of the Presidency highlighted that in the Gaza Strip crimes against humanity are being committed against the Palestinian people.

Prada explained that, the day before, Bolivian President Luis Arce held a meeting with the Palestinian ambassador to the South American nation, Mahmoud Elalwani, to whom he expressed his solidarity and that of the people for the suffering of the Palestinians and rejected the crimes of war being committed in the Gaza Strip.

"Our president called for a definitive solution and for Palestine to exercise its right to self-determination, to its territory without illegal occupations and to consolidate its own free and independent State, within the framework of its established borders with East Jerusalem as its capital," she said.

The minister emphasized the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, the rights to life, liberty, peace, and in rejection of all types of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, we are referring "this official communication to the State of Israel, in which we make known our decision as the Plurinational State of Bolivia to break diplomatic relations with Israel."

Likewise, the Bolivian Government plans to send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip for those affected by the current aggression. So far, more than 9,500 deaths and more than 21,500 injuries have been reported due to Israel's attacks on the Palestinian territory.

Israel's false arguments are no longer tenable

Subsequently, Bolivia's ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Diego Pary, declared that the inhuman aggressiveness and false arguments of the Government of Israel are no longer sustainable.

Before the UN General Assembly, Pary questioned "how is it possible that the aggressor now appeals to the right to defense by putting himself in the position of victim? You cannot cover the sun with a finger. The occupying power, the aggressor, Israel is genocidal."

"Our organization, the United Nations, is indebted to the Palestinian people because we have not managed to conclude what we projected as a solution for definitive and lasting peace in the year 1945. While our actions advance slowly, Israel benefited from the resolution that gives existence as a State and, from that moment until today, as an occupying power, it ignores all other decisions and resolutions of the United Nations," he said.

The Bolivian ambassador stated that this is a clear demonstration of "contempt and disrespect for the international community and the entire development of international law and international humanitarian law, which are the basis of international peace and security."

Likewise, he urged action with urgency and coherence, asserting that the lives of Palestinians have the same value as the lives of all citizens of the world.

"In recent days, we have observed in amazement the excessive attack and genocide of Palestinian civilians in Gaza (...) We are experiencing a turning point in the evolution of the conflict, where Israel as the occupying power has decided to apply collective punishment to the Palestinians in Gaza, whose existence it does not recognize, destroys their homes, schools, hospitals and deprives them of their most basic rights, leaving the population without food, without fuel, without electricity, without medical treatment, without water," he added.

Pary noted that "those responsible for these serious crimes against humanity and war crimes must respond to international justice, and assured that Bolivia will be on the right side of history, of the rights of the Palestinian people."

Colombia and Chile on the Same Road

Chile, for its part, called its ambassador in Tel Aviv for consultations on Tuesday night over "the unacceptable violations of International Humanitarian Law that Israel has incurred in the Gaza Strip," according to a bulletin from the government's foreign ministry.

"Chile strongly condemns and observes with great concern that these military operations – which at this point in their development entail collective punishment of the Palestinian civilian population in Gaza – do not respect fundamental norms," the government said.

Along the same lines, the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, summoned his ambassador to Tel Aviv. "If Israel does not stop the massacre of the Palestinian people, we cannot be there," added Colombia's first Anti-imperialist Socialist President Gustavo Petro on his X account.

Hamas welcomed Bolivia's announcement in a statement on Tuesday, expressing its "great esteem" for the decision it made against the Zionist Apartheid of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and urged "the Arab countries that have normalized their relations" with Israel to do the same.

Bolivia's Anti-Zionist History

Bolivia had previously broken diplomatic relations with Israel, which dated back to Operation Condor Dictatorship 1969. In 2009, the Movimiento Al Socialismo government of Indigenous Socialist Leader Evo Morales (2006-2019) made the same determination due to an Israeli attack in the Gaza Strip.

La Paz resumed relations a decade later by order of Fascist Dictator Jeanine Áñez, installed after the infamous 2019 US Supported Fascist Coup against Bolivia. Same coup where Elon Musk tweeted that for lithium the imperialists would coup whomever the f*** they wanted to.

The Minister of the Presidency, María Nela Prada, - who spoke at a press conference as acting foreign minister - expressed that her government "shares" the condemnation of the UN Secretary General, António Guterres, regarding the situation in Gaza.

"At the same time, we call for dialogue and structural solutions that respect life, to avoid a further escalation of the conflict," he added.

MAS Leader Evo Morales highlighted the government's decision, although with criticism:

"Finally, and under pressure from the people, the government has decided to break diplomatic relations with Israel. It does so after being in power for three years and after the Israeli regime murdered more than 8,500 people," he stated from X.

Before breaking relations with Israel, President Arce met on Monday with the Palestinian ambassador, Mahmoud Elalwani, and expressed his rejection of "the war crimes committed in Gaza" and advocated for a territory for Palestinians without Israeli occupation.

Venezuela has supported Palestinian Liberation since Commander Chávez was President

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela repudiated, once again, the systematic violation of the principles contemplated in International Humanitarian Law and the non-observance of the provisions of the Geneva Conventions, by Israel as an occupying power, said a statement from the Foreign Ministry.

He indicated that the above “constitutes a war crime, which must be independently investigated by international bodies,” so that those responsible can be determined.

The Bolivarian Government reiterated the call to establish an immediate ceasefire, stop the atrocities committed by Israel against civilian populations and to seek immediate solutions.

All this, he affirmed, in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, which allow peace, security, and dignity of the inhabitants of the Palestinian territory.

The Zionists have repeatedly attacked the densely-populated Jabalia refugee camp, leaving hundreds dead, with many injured and missing under the rubble.
